John B. Hoychick graduated from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1995. Upon graduation, Mr. Hoychick joined his father and grandfather at Cotton, Bolton, Hoychick, and Doughty. Since coming to the firm, Mr. Hoychick has established himself as a skillful litigator, focusing in the areas of insurance defense and commercial litigation. In addition to his work in the courtroom, Mr. Hoychick also performs extensive corporate, estate planning, probate and real estate work.
Mr. Hoychick is also a member of the Fifth Judicial District Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, the Fred Fudickar American Inn of Court, past chairman of the Louisiana Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee #17, past member of the Northeast Community Partnership Panel and member of the Public Access and Consumer Protection Community, past board member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, chairman of District Defender Selections Committee, founding board member of Richland Parish Chamber of Commerce, past board member of Life Choices, and past City Judge for the Town of Delhi.
